71: Medical Lecture!

The lecture hall of the Royal Dream Academy was filled with an air of anticipation. The newly appointed medical students, adorned with their Snake and Sword pins, gathered eagerly to attend the first lecture on the Medical Arts. Boundless Dream herself had decided to lead this inaugural session, ensuring that the foundation of their education was built on a solid understanding of both traditional and spiritual medicine.

As the students settled into their seats, Boundless Dream entered the hall, her presence commanding immediate attention and respect. She moved gracefully to the front of the room, her eyes scanning the eager faces before her. With a nod, she began her lecture.

“Welcome, students,” she started, her voice calm yet authoritative. “Today, we embark on a journey into the vast and intricate world of the Medical Arts. Our bodies, much like the cosmos, are complex systems of push and pull, balance and imbalance. Disease and medicine work within the body to add and subtract substances that either harm or heal our inner cosmos.”

She paused, allowing her words to resonate with the students. “In the practice of Earth, cancer is often treated with aggressive methods, such as chemotherapy, which can be likened to carpet bombing the entire body with poison. Recently developed techniques aim to train the immune system to fight the cancerous cells on its own, a more targeted approach.”

“Spiritual medicine, however, offers three primary forms of treatment: Merging, Replacing, and Fueling.”

Boundless Dream gestured to a large, intricately detailed diagram behind her, which illustrated the three methods.

Merging

“The first method, Merging, involves integrating the cancerous or damaged part of the body with non-aspect energy. This energy must be stable and non-volatile, merging seamlessly with the damaged parts to heal them. This process not only repairs the damage but also strengthens the body with the additional energy from the merging. When dealing with organs, it is recommended to digest medicines aligned with the elemental nature of the body part both before and after the procedure.”

She looked around the room, ensuring that her students were following along. “Merging has its benefits, but it also comes with significant risks. The process requires precise control, and any loss of control can lead to the disintegration of the body and soul.”

Replacing

“The second method, Replacing, involves surrounding and ‘copying’ the affected area or organ, then replacing the damaged cells and removing the old part in liquid form. This method is particularly effective for localized damage but also requires a high degree of precision and control to avoid complications.”

Fueling

“The third method, Fueling, does not involve directly altering the damaged body part. Instead, it provides non-aspect energy to the body, allowing it to heal itself. This method is less invasive and carries fewer risks, but it may not be as effective in severe cases.”

Boundless Dream emphasized the importance of control and precision in each of these methods. “The energy used in any operation must be of a non or soft aspect. For those skilled in fire aspect energy, it can also be used, but only with practiced control to prevent harm.”

She then introduced the concept of Human Spiritual Practices, highlighting the formation of pills that, once ingested, scan the body and use the Fueling technique to heal damaged tissues. “These pills are a testament to the ingenuity and advanced techniques developed by spiritual practitioners. They provide a less invasive option for healing, suitable for those who may not have access to skilled healers.”

Moving on to more advanced techniques, Boundless Dream discussed the Divine or Godly Arts, which employ Wood-Fire or Light attributes cast with spells to heal. “These methods are similar in principle but utilize the unique properties of divine energy to achieve remarkable results.”

She also touched on Buddhist Healing Techniques, which she described as ‘brainwashing’ the cancer. “Buddhist healers use their profound understanding of the mind to convince the cancer cells that they do not exist, essentially ending the war before it begins. This technique is a powerful example of the mind’s ability to influence the body.”

Finally, Boundless Dream addressed the unique resilience of Sword and Blade Cultivators. “Those who practice these arts at a high level have an essence within their bodies that prohibits the formation of cancerous growths. Their internal energy is so refined and controlled that it naturally prevents such imbalances.”

“Each of these methods has its benefits and downsides. It is your responsibility as healers to understand these techniques deeply and apply them with wisdom and compassion. The path of the healer is not just about curing disease but about restoring balance and harmony to the body and soul.”

As Boundless Dream continued her lecture on the Medical Arts, the students in the hall were visibly captivated. The depth and complexity of the knowledge she was sharing elicited gasps and moments of stunned silence.

When she described the Earthly method of treating cancer by “carpet bombing” the body with poison, there were audible gasps from the students, particularly those who had not been exposed to such harsh methods before.

“That’s barbaric!” one student whispered to another, eyes wide with disbelief.

As Boundless Dream detailed the three spiritual methods of treatment, the room was filled with a mix of awe and contemplation. The concepts of Merging, Replacing, and Fueling were new to many, and the potential risks associated with these methods left them both intrigued and apprehensive.

“Did she say disintegration of the body and soul?” a student murmured, her voice tinged with fear.

When Boundless Dream emphasized the necessity of precise control and the dangers of losing that control, the room fell into a stunned silence. The gravity of the information was palpable, and the students understood the immense responsibility that came with practicing these techniques.

One brave student raised his hand, his voice steady but curious. “Master Boundless Dream, could you explain more about the non-aspect energy? How do we ensure it’s stable and non-volatile?”

Boundless Dream nodded, appreciating the question. “Non-aspect energy, also known as neutral energy, is energy that does not inherently align with any elemental attribute. To ensure its stability, it must be meticulously purified and controlled. This requires deep meditation and a thorough understanding of energy manipulation. You’ll learn these techniques in your advanced classes.”

As she moved on to explain the formation of pills in Human Spiritual Practices, the students listened intently, many taking notes. The idea that a pill could scan the body and heal damaged tissues with minimal invasion was fascinating to them.

Another student, eyes wide with excitement, asked, “Master, could you tell us more about how these pills are created? Is it something we will learn to do ourselves?”

“Indeed,” Boundless Dream replied with a smile. “Creating these pills is an advanced skill that you will learn as you progress. It involves precise alchemy and a deep understanding of the body’s energy pathways.”

When she discussed the Divine or Godly Arts, using Wood-Fire or Light attributes, the students were visibly impressed. The idea of using such powerful energies to heal resonated deeply with them.

“Master, are there specific spells we need to learn to use these attributes effectively?” a student asked, leaning forward in his seat.

“Yes,” Boundless Dream confirmed. “You will be taught specific incantations and energy manipulation techniques. These spells require not just power but also a deep connection to the elemental energies you are working with.”

The explanation of Buddhist Healing Techniques, which involved ‘brainwashing’ the cancer cells, left many students stunned.

“Can the mind really be that powerful?” a student whispered, her eyes wide with wonder.

“Yes,” Boundless Dream answered, hearing the question. “The mind is incredibly powerful, especially when it comes to influencing the body. Buddhist healers harness this power to create profound changes, turning the body’s own mechanisms against the disease.”

Finally, the mention of Sword and Blade Cultivators preventing cancerous growths due to their refined internal energy caused a ripple of excitement.

“Does that mean those of us studying martial arts will have a natural defense against such diseases?” a student asked eagerly.

“At advanced levels, yes,” Boundless Dream replied. “The energy within a Sword or Blade Cultivator’s body becomes so refined that it can prevent many forms of disease. However, this requires intense training and mastery.”

As Boundless Dream concluded her lecture, she looked out at the attentive faces of her students, knowing she had planted the seeds of knowledge and curiosity. She encouraged them to ask questions and seek further understanding.

“Remember, the path of the healer is not just about curing disease but about restoring balance and harmony to the body and soul,” she reiterated.

A student raised her hand hesitantly. “Master Boundless Dream, how do we choose which method to use in a given situation? It seems like each has its own risks and benefits.”

“Excellent question,” Boundless Dream said, smiling warmly. “Choosing the right method depends on many factors: the nature of the ailment, the patient’s overall health, and your own skill level. You will learn to assess these factors through your training and experience. Always prioritize the safety and well-being of your patient.”

The room was filled with a renewed sense of purpose and determination. Boundless Dream’s lecture had not only imparted knowledge but also inspired the students to strive for excellence in their practice.
