After the profound speech of the Future Buddha, the realms were still in the throes of contemplation when the Medical Saintess stepped forward, her soft but resolute voice carrying across the Infinite Realms. Known for her miraculous healing arts and mastery over the mysteries of life and death, she had long been a beacon of hope for those suffering from ailments of both body and soul.
But today, she was not merely offering comfort—she was offering a cure. A cure for a disease that had plagued not only the mortal and immortal realms but the very fabric of existence: Cancer.
The Medical Saintess Speaks
“Brothers and sisters of the cosmos, I come before you today to share what the heavens themselves have revealed to me. For eons, we have battled against the malignancy of cancer, a force that has ravaged the bodies of mortals, immortals, and gods alike. But today, the cycle of suffering can be broken.
Cancer, at its core, is not some alien force but a part of us. It is born from within, an aberration of the body’s own nature, and like many things in this universe, it reflects the eternal struggle between harmony and chaos, balance and disorder. The immune system, the very force meant to protect us, becomes the source of our suffering when it can no longer distinguish friend from foe, self from threat.
Thus, to cure cancer, we must understand it for what it truly is: a reflection of imbalance. And so, I offer three ancient techniques to restore that balance and heal the body.”
Three Forms of Treatment: Merging, Replacing, Fueling
Merging:
“Merging is a process of reconciliation. The cancerous cells, though corrupted, are still part of the body’s own essence. Through the use of non-aspect energy, which carries no volatility and seeks only to harmonize, we can merge the damaged cells with this pure energy. In doing so, both the cancerous tissue and the energy are transformed, healing not just the affected area but providing the body with renewed strength.
This method, however, requires immense skill. The healer must be able to draw upon non-elemental energy or energies that match the element of the affected organ—such as Wood energy for the liver or Fire energy for the heart. Preceding and following the procedure with medicinal pills or herbs of the same element is essential to nourish the body and restore balance.
Yet beware—the merging process is delicate. A misstep, a momentary loss of control, and the result could be catastrophic. The body, and even the soul, may disintegrate.”
Replacing:
“The second method is more forceful—Replacement. Using divine arts, the healer surrounds the cancerous cells, encasing them in energy, and then creates a perfect replica of the organ or tissue. The diseased cells are then liquefied and expelled from the body, allowing for the pure, uncorrupted cells to take their place.
This method is less risky than merging but still demands a high level of control. The energy used must be gentle enough to copy the original tissue but strong enough to forcefully eject the malignant cells. It is often the chosen method for those who are not yet ready to take on the spiritual risks of merging.”
Fueling:
“The final method is the gentlest but requires the most patience. Fueling relies on non-aspect energy, or soft elemental energy, to bolster the body’s natural healing abilities. By flooding the body with this energy, the immune system is slowly retrained to recognize the cancerous cells as harmful and to heal the damaged tissue over time.
This process is slower but safer. The body’s natural defenses are strengthened without the need for violent intervention, and over time, the cancer recedes. For this method, many cultivators use spiritual pills that scan the body, seeking out diseased tissue, and fuel the healing process until their energy is depleted.”
Different Healing Arts
Human Spiritual Practices:
“Through the formation of pills and techniques that harness the essence of heaven and earth, spiritual healers can address cancer by using non-aspect energy to heal, merge, or replace the damaged cells. These techniques have been passed down through countless generations, each refined and perfected.”
Divine and Godly Arts:
“Gods and divine cultivators have long used Wood-Fire energy and the Light attributes of their divine spells to eradicate disease. These energies nourish and purify the body, healing it from within. In the hands of a skilled practitioner, cancer can be eradicated entirely, restoring the body to a state of perfect balance.”
Buddhist Healing Techniques:
“The Buddhists, too, have their own methods. They employ spiritual techniques that focus not on attacking the cancer but on convincing it that it does not exist. Through meditation, chants, and mantras, they soothe the angry cells, dissolving the conflict and returning the body to a state of peace. In essence, they ‘brainwash’ the cancer into believing that all is well, thus ending the war before it even begins.”
Sword and Blade Cultivators:
“For those who practice the way of the sword or blade, cancer is not a threat. The Sword Essence within their bodies is too sharp, too pure, for such corruption to take hold. Their inner qi naturally destroys any aberrant growth, ensuring that they remain untainted.”
The Final Word
The Medical Saintess paused, her eyes sweeping across the vast assembly of cultivators, gods, and mortals who had gathered to listen.
“All things push and pull, much like the battle between disease and medicine. The inner cosmos of the body is a reflection of the outer cosmos, and it is through this understanding that we can heal ourselves and each other.
Remember this: cancer is not your enemy. It is simply a part of you that has lost its way. Through these methods, you can restore balance, regain your health, and continue your path to immortality.”
With those words, she raised her hands, chanting an ancient prayer to the heavens, a prayer of healing and balance. The air shimmered with her spiritual power, and all across the realms, those who were suffering from disease felt a wave of peace wash over them.
Reactions Across the Realms
In the Mortal Realms:
Farmers, merchants, and even low-level cultivators, who had long suffered from ailments they could not cure, felt hope bloom within their hearts. Many gathered at their local temples, offering thanks to the Medical Saintess, and began seeking out pills and techniques to heal their bodies.
Among the Divine Healers:
The healers of the heavens, who had long studied the mysteries of the body and soul, found themselves marveling at the simplicity and brilliance of the Medical Saintess’s teachings. Many began incorporating her methods into their practices, their halls filling with those seeking her wisdom.
In the Buddhist Schools:
The Buddhists, with their long-held beliefs in the power of the mind, nodded in agreement with the Saintess’s words. Their healing mantras and prayers took on new meaning as they embraced the idea of healing through conviction and peace.
Among the Sword Cultivators:
Swordmasters chuckled, their sharp eyes gleaming with pride. “We have no need of these cures,” one remarked. “Our Sword Qi purges any weakness from within us. Still, her teachings are sound for those less fortunate.”
Thus, the Medical Saintess’s words spread across the realms, bringing new hope and healing to all who heard them. The plague of cancer that had long plagued the spiritual world was now something that could be understood, controlled, and cured.
