On the Purpose of Life and Civilization

We are not put on this earth merely to make money, hold jobs, or neglect our spiritual growth. I believe the purpose of life in the universe is to pass down the heritage of our civilization’s wondrous achievements. By sharing the unbiased facts learned from history and past mistakes, we help reduce ignorance in the name of science. This mission is hindered when we constantly harm or exploit each other.

Imagining a Better World

I maintain my calm by imagining a world where everything is clear and simple, without fear or mental prisons. In this world, ambitions can blossom, not for capitalist gains but to truly harness the industrial revolution’s intent: making services and goods available to enhance spiritual enjoyment, reduce existential fear, share loving memories, and foster societal growth. Industry should elevate living standards, not exploit the weak with unfair wages, tax evasion, and neglect of the working class.

The Role of Opportunity and Fair Wages

Growing up in Norway, I benefited from a system that offers fair wages and respect for workers. Companies profit, but workers also receive proper compensation, allowing them to balance work, hobbies, and spiritual pursuits. I dream of a society where large corporations stop exploiting workers and instead value their contributions. Real wealth lies in the population, not in printed money. A fair wage of at least $45/hour would force employers to reduce personal greed and value their employees, improving job quality across all occupations.

The Importance of Education and Knowledge Sharing

Education is the cornerstone of a developed world. In some places, reading is still a privilege, and poor infrastructure hinders quality of life. However, education allows us to learn from past mistakes and inspire future generations. Knowledge, particularly in science and history, should be freely shared to help developing countries. This would empower individuals to change their fates and contribute to their communities.

Principles for a Just Society

  1. Safety and Education: A developed country should provide a safe environment and free, unbiased education for all citizens. Removing the fear of violence and basic needs would foster innovation and productivity.
  2. Essential Services: Free legal counsel, basic healthcare, and abolishing standardized testing are crucial. Education should focus on meaningful projects rather than rote memorization, making learning enjoyable and relevant.
  3. Political Involvement: Youth should have opportunities to engage in political discourse, promoting freedom, love, and progressive laws. Mandatory schooling should include mental health support to prevent abuse and ensure well-being.

A Vision for the Future

In a world plagued by misinformation, violence, and discrimination, a nation should ensure security and growth opportunities for its people. Improved logistics could prevent food waste and hunger. Children and young adults need safe spaces to share their ideas and overcome their challenges.

School uniforms can reduce economic disparities and promote a sense of belonging. An educational system led by experts would guide young minds to innovate and explore. Fair competition and smaller businesses can drive economic growth, reducing the need for harmful industries.

Viewing the planet as one nation, we should utilize regions for their strengths, protect natural resources, and promote sustainable consumption. A united human race, respecting the cosmos and each other, can achieve a perpetual golden age.

Unity

We know materialism is not the ultimate goal, but responsible consumption and fair distribution can ensure everyone is fed and content. Unity is key to achieving a harmonious and prosperous world.
